Flagship Programme

Home-Based Caregiver Programme
Our flagship programme combines knowledge-based modules, practical care home simulation training, and a supervised internship at a care home β built around real equipment and real cases so graduates are ready from day one. Graduates also receive dedicated job placement assistance to connect them with employment opportunities in care homes and private households.

Short Courses
/ Continuing EducationMandatory Prerequisite
All Short Courses listed below are available exclusively to learners who have successfully completed the Home-Based Caregiver Programme. Completion of the flagship programme is a mandatory prerequisite for enrolment in any of these courses. These short courses are designed as continuing education β helping qualified caregivers deepen their expertise and expand their scope of practice. Learners who completed their first-level caregiver training at another institution may provide relevant certification as proof of qualification to register for these courses.

Elderly Care Training
Focused training on the unique physical, emotional, and social needs of elderly clients β equipping caregivers to deliver dignified, person-centred care in home and residential settings.

Dementia and Alzheimer's Care
An evidence-based programme covering the full spectrum of dementia and Alzheimer's care, from early-stage communication strategies to late-stage comfort care for South African families.

Disability Care
Equips caregivers with the skills to support individuals living with physical and intellectual disabilities β covering mobility assistance, adaptive communication, and independence promotion.

Palliative Care
Prepares caregivers to provide compassionate, dignified support to patients and families during end-of-life stages β covering pain management, emotional support, and family communication.

Mental Health Awareness
Builds caregiver awareness and practical skills for supporting clients experiencing mental health challenges β including depression, anxiety, and stress β with empathy and appropriate boundaries.

Special Needs Child Care
Equips caregivers with the knowledge and practical skills to support children with physical, intellectual, and developmental disabilities β focusing on inclusive care, communication, and daily living support.
First Aid
A refresher course designed to help qualified caregivers maintain and sharpen their first aid skills, ensuring up-to-date certification in line with Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) standards. This course reinforces critical life-saving techniques and keeps practitioners compliant with workplace health and safety requirements.
